NKT, you may have already answered this and I missed it. But you said you have started to see it in the warehouses db I believe and whatever other db you have access to. What does that usually indicate, like what has it meant for past phones when you started to see that info?

Thanks, NKT! Hopefully some cool new goodies come your way soon that you can enlighten us on, though I suspect we'll being seeing you plenty on different Incredible threads in the future once the phone has been released.
 
Not being able to use Skype over Wifi is actually a great call by VZW. A ton of packets would end up getting dropped and the call would sound like garbage leading users to complain to VZW.

Not only does Verizon not have anything scheduled, no other telco's or phone mfg's have either. The media are heading to the airport already, especially those living on the East Coast where it's a five hour flight to get home via non-stop service. It's over for any CTIA announcement, folks. Let's move on and hope for a formal announcement soon.

oh oh...I can do that....After rereading all 300 pages here is summary:

We really don't know much about when the phone is being released but we do have what is believed to be confirmed specs.....

and that sums it up!

You're probably right, especially if you're in hotel where every Tom, Dick and Harry is on the lone router or two they have choking upload/download speeds.

Problem is I'm not a Skype user currently and don't know too many folks that are with the exception of some of the factories our company works with in Asia. So unless I could use the service over a Wi-Fi connection it holds no potential value to me.
 
I was looking at vzwoffers twitter page and there were alot of twitters asking about the incredible....all of the replys were pretty much the same "we have some good stuff coming very soon..."

From what I can tell, they have the entries in there for the phone plus dummy mockups. But they're no stock listed for either one. So this leads me to believe that the warehouses are just prepping for delivery/distribution.

I'm keeping an eye on it.
 
I think that inside the mythical box is another box with a red button on it and if you push the button, you will be given the Incredible, but then some Verizon exec whom you don't know, will be fired.....

That's easy to summarize. The HTC Incredible is just an unconfirmed rumor that may or may not ever be released by Verizon because they refuse to comment on it.

That about sum it up?
