Post Your S3 "Set-Up"

Can S3 owners post something brief about their phone's set up. Hopefully, this can serve as an "at-a-glance" resource for current and future owners to get ideas on themes, widgets, accessories or whatever.

As we go forward and new stuff becomes available, Jelly Bean is released for our phone, various ROMS (for those who root) evolve, hopefully this thread can evolve as well, while continuing to serve as an archive.

Also, if we can keep images to a minimum. I love the "show your homescreen" thread, but on Tapatalk, the images often don't load before the traffic light turns green. :D

Anyway, here's mine (and sorry if this has been done already and I missed it).

32 GB microSD card
Nova Launcher
SwiftKey 3 keyboard
homescreen widgets - Simple Calendar, ToDo List
K-9 mail (replaces stock email client)
Rooted, still stock ROM, (almost) all bloatware uninstalled
JuiceDefender, DroidWall & AdFree
Ringke SLIM Lite case

Mind telling me why you chose K-9 Mail over the default Mail app?? I didn't see any advantages of owning that app instead of the normal mail app, or am I missing something?

Blue32
Stock Rooted/de-bloated
ICS Blue Themed Toggles w/WiFi toggle
16GB microSD card(shipped with my DX)
Nova Launcher Prime
"Chrome Rings" Clock/Weather/Battery Widget
naked

32gb sd card
Nova Launcher Prime
Rooted / KyanROM (ICS themed)
Fancy Widgets Pro
PowerAMP pro
Popup Notifications (for texts)
ICS keyboard
WidgetLocker

And I'll add the 50gb dropbox I got for free too.

When configured properly, K-9 synchronization w/the server, using multiple accounts on various protocols, is the boss. Other clients fail in this area with at least one of the accounts I use (two separate sent/spam/deleted mailboxes, configuring "delete mail on server" doesn't work, duplicate sent messages, etc). Other features that can be set per account:

- email signature
- new msg notification sound
- default msg download size
- display settings
- polling frequency (when push isn't available)
- msg storage location (internal or sd card)

The killer feature for me is the unified inbox. Emails from different accounts and folders all in one handy dandy location.

have you heard of Universal Remote? its almost twice the price, but it controls just about everything. ive tried the free version, and it works quite well

ill post with my setup once ive got it set up properly :D

Yes, I have Universal Remote (free version), but aWARemote gives full access to library, EQ, playlist, and album art etc. and it can start Winamp if it isn't already running.

Universal Remote is more generic - play, pause, skip controls etc. but I don't know about the full version.
