Root Flashing questions?

I want a ROM with 4g( if available)
Overclock if possible.

sligtly more complicated then it was for you to mod your triumph. .but not much..best advice would be to read..read and read..once you understand what everything means and what it does then you could move on to trying it..if you run into problems trying. post back and someone here will always help you..

there are several roms with working 4g..sense 3.6 roms..sense 4 doesnt have 4g or 3d. anthrax kernels are avilable for overclock. but even flashing them or getting them to boot and function propely can take a little know how..start with the rooting thread..read it a few times..then i would reccomend the s off thread..then the hboot downgrade thread..then your rom of choice thread..then your oc kernel thread for last :D
 
If you want to play, you really need to go S-off, after that, the list of useable VM roms is pretty open. and we have a few that do what you want (some don't overclock and really, it's unnecessary).

Beyond that, it is still experimental.

I read in a couple of tutorials about the S-off.
Can u plz tell me more about it or a thread that talks more thoroughly.
Play like for games and stuff like that right?

the process of s-off pretty much kicks the piss out of the installed security setup your phone comes with. while s on it makes experimental mods ans kernel flashing a little more of a pain. fast boot flashing kernels..which you need to learn how to do but can get old very quickly. once your s off you can just flash everything through recovery like you did with your triumph.

not to sure where a very detailed thread explaining everything you should know about the soff process is located..you can learn alot through google..it is your friend :D.. try this thread and read it from top to bottom..you will see links to unlimitedio where you can begin the process. you will also see the mistakes that alot of us made while doing it, and what we did to overcome the issues

google "s-off" and "wire trick" ..if you get into a jam you can go to unlimitedio's irc channel and those guys are always helping ppl out. they are the ones who figured out how to disable security
 
also youtube has videos of the unlimitedio guys doing the wire trick..make sure you read and read and read before you attempt it..there is risk that comes along with it..some ppl have jacked their phones up. so make sure you have a good grasp on it before you try
 
So far I only found the S-OFF for 1.49 Hboot version and 1.48
But I have the 1.57

no.unlock your boot loader..then root and recovery..then soff...then optional hboot downgrade (highly recommended).. then you can flash rooms and kernels
 
start with the rooting/recovery/boot loader unlock guide in the stickies..then worry about s off afterwords...it is a decent amount of work to put in before the fun stuff..but once everything is finished..boot loader unlock ..root..recovery (4ext)..s-off..hboot downgrade (optional) but will be needed if you wanna flash anything besides sense..custom rom..custom kernel for overclocking ..when you get ready to do the s off process..remember you need to check out #juopunutbear's irc channel. there you will get answers to any problem you run into.
 
you need to run juopunutbear s-off program and do the wire trick...use my above link to jmz thread which will link you to unlimitedios web page..hope i caught you in time friend :D
