Help Unable to pick up mail from Outlook.com with native mail app

Since I updated my Hotmail.co.uk account to Outlook.com I am unable to pick up email from my hotmail.co.uk or outlook.com account from the native mail app on my Wildfire S.
I can pick them up via the Hotmail+ seven app.
Why ?
