Just got the Lightray. And Confirmation from corporate that we are getting the GS3.

I can't begin to tell you how sexy this phone is.

Makes Me excited to see what's coming. but at the current price it's a no no for me. My esteem is still a bit bigger. I'm on break so I'll update with more pictures later on my second break.

I hate how ugly the stock background is.
The quality of the super amoled is really good, very crisp and the phone surprisingly responsive.

Size comparison between connect, lightray, and esteem.
Those are older dummy phones which would explain their horrible condition.
 
They not gonna sell much lol like pg says its just another pof! plus the price is almost as much as rent money lol

Thanks for sharing it's a nice device of course it's old and overpriced but it's still the first galaxy on metro some customers will buy it
 
Finally a metro phone with a 8mp camera... However its not worth the $500 by the time you pay taxes. I would pay that for S3
 
Never really was a Samsung fan. Only Samsung I've owned was a pain to hack not to mention it randomly rebooting. The Nexus is nice but I don't think I can bring myself to buy another sammy unless it is a Nexus. I would really like to see HTC get the Nexus line back.
My 2 cents lol. Looks like a nice phone.:p

The Attain is a pos and a dev nightmare lol, think indulge when it comes to dev involvement for it ;)


The Lightray looks nice, specs are old tho and its not worth no $460 for dayum sure.

If it were priced about the same as the Connect or Esteem, it would be a consideration if one didnt have a Connect or Esteem that is. Its not an upgrade from either. ;)
 
Ok my brother in law just called me telling me he just bought the new lightray 4g (jerk) he told me total price with taxes and keeping his original number was $515 dollars I was like Damn thats alot:( lol

Upgrade on the camera-hotspot-screen..still don't get why its priced so high.
The SD isn't "free" when worked into the price:eek:
Definitely not an upgrade from the Connect or Esteem as you said.
Unless the marketing strategy is to start high and "drop the price" = its a steal now.
Sad thing is they will sell some to those who think they have the "best phone out there/available" with Metro because it costs more.
Education is a beautiful thing;)

$519...So not worth it for outdated technology. Wtf is wrong with Metro.

Its a nice device but that price is a bit ridiculous and that antenna hanging out looks freaking stupid too.
 
No Dual Core
2.3 Out Of Box
= Hell no

Metro lost money on this phone from me, even tho i buy every metro phone that comes out. i will wait for the next one, and get this one when the price drops in a few months maybe. :D

I wouldn't spend the money on anything other than a s3.
