Root Bad news!

Hi guys. As some may know, I have been working on porting some themes over to the nook for both cm 7.1 and 7.2. Unfortunately, I may not get to finish them. Last night I dropped my nook face first. The screen is cracked pretty bad, its spider webbed throughout the bottom half.

So.. I'm going to spoil myself today and buy a nexus 7. Now, I can still proceed with porting the themes, but I've got no device to test them on. If someone will be willing to test them, I will continue working on them and we can get them done together.

I'm really gonna miss this sub-forum. I don't post here often anymore because I'm usually in the LG connect area, but I do read the posts here. I came to the nook sub-forums knowing very little, and I leave them with a decent wealth of knowledge. Good times, thank you for that. :D

From what I've heard so far, I'm certain I will. What a powerhouse at 250 bucks!

Everyone was sold out though, had to order from Google. 3-5 business days. I'm hoping closer to 3 than 5 lol, I want it before the weekend!
 
You should have heard all the complaints in the shipping date speculation thread... like a bunch of whiny little girls at a Beeber concert. :D (poor Google)

LOL! too funny. Google emailed me this morning. Shipped today, 2nd day UPS, so I should have it tomorrow. Horray!!

I'm glad you got a n7 lol, we can still shoot the shit over there ;)

I'll be working on the themes again tonight for the nook, I should be able to host the test files in the next couple of days. Thankfully testing them won't be dangerous for anyone, I've only made cosmetic changes, so nothing that will break the system.
 
Themes have to be a pain in the butt to work on. You think a theme is done, then someone finds an obscure page with white on white. :D
