Root Application Wizard Error

I rooted, all went well. I swapped roms, all went well. I set up my phone to my liking, all went well. I then used superuser to update binary, now my phone boots, but got application wizard stopped working error, and i can't see any apps. what do i do now?
 
did you long touch the home screen and add application grid in applications.
and usally the setup wizard gives you that if you don't sign into gmail on your 1st boot
 
I did sign in to google, but right afterwards i got an error message stating that the application wizard had stopped working, just a blank screen with the icons for wifi, the bars, etc at the top of the screen. I tried long touching, but nothing.... not even a home screen to long touch on, really.

Which Rom are you tring to load?

I second this motion. Updating the SU binary gave me troubles to my phone also and its was a pain but i found out that im using the new version of SU the troubles continue but if i roll back to an older version the problems stop. even in the app info they say that if the app works for you then dont update it
 
First off, thanks everyone! Very helpful. Maybe not for my case in particular, just yet, but i am learning. I guess what i need to know at this point is how to roll back my binary. My problem is that i did load the admiral beast... it was working great. Then I was messing around with SU and updated the binary... it rebooted automatically, then told me that the application wizard stopped working. So it comes all the way to the screen with the slide lock and the time, but once i slide the lock open, blank screen... is there a way i can still roll back the binary?
