Got everything to work rooted and everything but now it keeps preparing internal and external storage.
Any ideas?

Could be an issue with your SD card. Defective or going bad.
Just un-mount the SD then mount it and see if it corrects it.

But it is doing it for internal storage. Now seems to get stuck on preparing 9%

Break it down for me if you will-you upgraded to ZVD-Rooted...
Are you still on the stock ROM ? Added anything since you finished the two processes-apps..themes..ect?

No added roms everything is stock its just rooted
Gets stuck at preparing internal storage at 9%
Should I factory reset and erase everything on internal space?

It is best to-just use a root explorer and check what's on there first so you don't lose any personal stuff like pics.

I just started from scratch as far as my sd card goes. Everything is working great now except one thing. When someone calls me it shows a black screen
So I can not answer a call.

hope you can help. I had zvb and tried to upgrade it. followed all the steps blah blah blah. everything was going fine. for some reason my computer shut off during the process. right now my phone is stuck on a screen that says download is in progress. do not disconnect cable. yes even with computer of it said that. I re startred computer to see what I could do. restarted the lg update tool and it did its thing. got to the part that said phone connected. start update. clicked that and it did its thing reading the phone. then stopped and said update not available. and now when it reads the phone it does not display a phone model number. I tried disconnecting the phone doing a battery pull trying to boot into recovery. everytime it goes back to the download screen. help? oh I had zvb, rooted and I don't remember which rom and kernel

I don't know how or why the above happened but I was able to fix it. I pulled the battery and got my phones sn # and the other # (imei?) Went back into the lg update tool and in its tool bar you can enter those numbers. I did that, hit update and it worked. Took about an hour and the second it hit 100% the lg tool force closed. Phone seemed locked up but it just took much longer to reboot. Used the one click root and all is well. It did not install can for some reason so I did that thru ROM manager. All is well
