any ideas on the new galaxy?

For metro? You mean the s3?!?

edit - ok just checked it out. Something called the lightray. I do want to break away from lg and I do like the bigger screen but gingerbread and a 1ghz processor means it won't be got by me.

funny how they're gonna have one of their lower phones come with ICS out the box(lg motion) but the lightray will still have gingerbread.

in one of the videos for this phone the guy said the lightray can be upgraded to ICS.

doesnt matter as im waiting for the s3, which BTW will also cost a small fortune.

i wouldnt buy that phone if it was the only lte phone on metro. ya super amoled is nice but specs are a joke for that price. hell yes ima save up for the s3 or the motion 4g. i have this feeling that metro is guna hook up their s3 with the quad core. theyre exponentially getting better than other carriers. would be a bold move like their first release of 4g lte.

the connect overall is a much better phone then the new Galaxy S phone unless the ability to watch over the air tv is work a couple hundred dollars then go for it but for me hardware performance is better then the limited over the air tv option.

if metro could pull that off they would be boss and i would pay top dollar for it and i think others would too.

combining the US and INT specs. giving us the quad-core exynos, the 2gbs ram plus the built in radio. metro would choke the life out of the competition.

eh, wishful thinking though..

That'll be the only quadcore that'll be available on metro if sammy or metro hook us up

If that comes to metro, unless somebody else has released something, that'd be the only quad core in the states, period. I'm still not convined we're getting it though. we seem to have jumped from vague speculation to "Yeah, it's definitely coming, maybe even quad-core"

quad-core is just wishful thinking. we'll more than likely get the s3 that everyone else got in states.

+1. I never thought we'd get the quadcore. We're talking about metro here, they would never get it. I was just explaining
