How do take a screen shot of a game? Like temple run, world of goo, and osmos. Which are the games I play but for some reason... When I try to take a screen shot of the game, the screen goes all black. Then when I go back to gallery, the screen shot is all black... I want to take a picture of a high score of mine from temple run and show off. Help :/ oh and then screen shot works on ANY OTHER app but those 3 for me.
 
Lol I tried the screen shot apps too.. The only thing that seems to work is recording the high score :/ ugh.. It used to work... Idk what happened..
 
cuz the game is an app and the screen shot is another app the game detects another app being run so it pauses itself to allow u to do what u want to do. so in conclusion i believe its the game itself that turns your screen black so your phone dont freeze.
 
Yeah tried it earlier got a black screen. I also cant edit pictures when I take a screenshot.

Dont give up hope might be an app on the market that remains running in the background so when u do need it takes a pic without disturbing your game.
 
speed test is not a game...... a game takes more resource away than an average app besides the developer could of easily programmed it to do that on purpose which would be the same if u alt tab out on a game on your computer u will notice ur game pauses.
 
I was able to take a screen shot while playing Jeopardy. I used the screen shot that came with the #2 ROM.

I held the power button, chose screen shot, and quickly resumed my game before the picture was taken.
