Root [International] restore touchwiz camera app (or equivilent)

Hey hey,

I recently rooted and installed cm9 which i absolutely love, the only thing is I think I preferred the touchwiz camera app. Is there any way to install that from anywhere?

or alternatively is there a really good camera app anyone can recommend?
 
Nope, unfortunately its only available with TouchWiz roms. Personally I think you're mad dumping touchwiz roms, but there you go, to each his own :)
 
I'm a rom developer myself (or was). AOSP was my beast. I loved it on my desire.

The fact is all this amazing functionality the TouchWiz ROMS come with is not reproducible, even by Cyanogen. All the cool stuff that makes this device unique is lost as soon as you put AOSP on there.

I'm a huge advocate for AOSP, but Samsung have done a cracking Job with the S3.
 
There were some good features, but just too many little annoyances for my liking that aren't there in CM9. Plus I don't think many of the features really enhanced the experience all that much.

Too bad it has too be so incredibly ugly though :(

Hoorah for Touchwiz-based ROMs with custom themes :)
 
Linked in your checkout thread. You need stock toggles (not 15 though) and you need to restore the phone.apk (or remove from the zip before flashing) to work with lg8

nice, looks like im gonna have to get off omega rom then as he has non stock toggles. bah ive just set everything up lol
 
Omega files app has an add on (add off really) under omega 11.1-mods-status toggles to provide stock toggles
