Help Cannot explain strange icon

Cannot for the life of me tell what the icon in the top left is at all!

Anyone seen this before?

If you drag down the status bar do you get an associated entry in the notification window for it?

It looks google play related to me. Do you have automatic updating enabled in google play? Perhaps you have had some updates.

An app has been successfully updated from the Play Store.

If you drag down your Notification bar, it will tell you which one.

Hey guys bad timing,i know what that one is! its the one next to my backup! When i click it my phone freezes and a message appears stating tw needs to close!

A quick search on the Play Store brings up this slightly iffy looking app (going by the reviews) - could that be it?

Haha yeah! good news ppl since clearing touchwhiz data didn't solve i found the item in applications under all tab. Couldn't remove but could disabled stop it! Worked a treat since its no longer showing!

When you get the android icon rather than the app in question it can often mean the app or part of its data is not installed to the correct part of the device, either SDcard or internal phone memory and may need moving from one to the other for it to work correctly. I sometimes get this when using titanium backup restored apps from different roms as certain apps don't always restore correctly and show the android icon.

i had that on my phone after i updated to ics 4.0.4 its samsung hub i had to wipe everthing with factory reset to sort it out
