So I hear that now there's an official 2.3.6 update for our phones, that's pretty cool, does that mean that if req can base CM7.2 off of the official update that we could have have data and MMS at first boot?

I think so cause my battery life last longer then before! and idk about the kernel part but i guess yes

Don't cause in latest cwm you can't go back to it I did a nandroid with the latest and it doesn't work just says boot.img fail use only odin cwm

I did but it's stuck at Gaining Root Access trying to update the binary

please dont answer to what you dont know about. this is still gingerbread, still the same blobs and thus not much has changed. all the config files are going to remain exactly the same.
