Root Can the triumph be activated with CM7

My triumph is running the latest version of CM7. I am thinking of selling it on eBay. Can the phone be activated by a new user if it has CM7 installed, or is this impossible? Thanks.

No, i think theres alot of problems trying to activate with a another rom, you can install the stock rom here Or you could try selling to one of these developers

No you can't active the phone by using CM7 Rom
You need a stock 2.2 official Rom
It's impossible to active the phone by using CM7 Rom
The buyer have to call Virgin Mobile and and enter codes for activation.
They can't do that by using CM7 Rom or any custom Roms.

Why wouldn't you flash back to stock anyway? I am not sure someone would appreciate getting a modded phone.

I'd follow Sleepingsirens advice & reflash the stock ROM/recovery. 99% of people who would buy it would want to activate it & it will need to be stock for that. Not that it's really relevant to this situation, but I believe you might be able to activate on the stock ROM with a different kernel...
