Can't download files on other browsers...

I've noticed if I try to download from media fire, rcrdlbl.com or bandcamp via ICS browser it won't download anything at all. I'd have to use the stock browser or opera mini. Is there some type of setting that will allow me to use the ICS browser to download all types of files? I hate the default browser with a passion and love the ICS browser cause of the interface of it. Any tips would help.

Do u mean the download won't start or if you try to download a..apk file it downloads a 196 byte nothing file?

It will start in the notification Window and that's it. You'll get the progress bar like it's about to start downloading but it doesn't.
