Root strike rom kernel situation

i tried to use mason I series nonsbc with strike rom and the rom would get stuck on the boot animation so i tried to wipe cache and dalvik still didnt work so i end up reflashing rom and now it works again does anybody know if i can use mason kernel

no its the kernel that came with rom but the mason kernels i tried to install the rom works fine its just the mason kernel
 
I have had that happen on ics roms both w and w/o hardware acceleration. But tried it again later and had it work. Stumped me. Mason is king for evos on every rom though. When you get it working that is.
 
Was having the same problem. Can someone provide a link to the correct kernel, though i'm happy with the one it came with, I would like to try a mason
