OK, I've never rooted before.

I'm looking for step by step instructions to root my warp with N00b IV.

(I asked in the N00b IV thread earlier but I'm anxious to get my phone to stop its stupidity)

Help me Android forums, your my only hope.

where do I run that program from? ive tried desktop and ive tried the SD card. both just say waiting for device.

kinda need the proper steps to take here...

You run it from the desktop, make sure your phone has usb debugging checked before you run it.

Sometimes the computer doesn't recognize the phone, if your computer doesn't (just says waiting for device) try this :

open dialer and enter *983*87274# choose AT.

If that doesn't work, there are threads dedicated to getting the drivers to load and you might try pming n0ve for help
