It's irrelevant as long as you flash Siyah via Odin immediately after flashing the firmware.

And when Siyah v4 comes out, you will also have a fully working camera/video for the first time on a Sammy-based 4.0.4 ROM.

Personally, I'll wait until Neat+JKay catches up with their 4.0.4 offerings.

Well Sammy have just released it OTA for the unbranded Sgs2 ( i just downloaded it) so wish me luck!

I've just downloaded Siyah 4.01 and am using RootBox ROM. Any reason why I shouldn't just flash LPT too?

You will be fine as long as you download the Siyah .tar file (Odin) and flash it immediately after flashing the firmware (so untick Auto-Reboot in Odin before flashing LPT, then retick it before flashing Siyah)
