LG Motion the 22nd, Who's Getting It?

It would be if someone was upgrading from................nothing. lol

I hold a 3.5" screen phone and I feel like im going to break it. I personally dont care what is on it if I cant see it. lol But thats me.

Gotta be at least 4" to wet my whistle.

I understand what you mean, I hold my esteem up to my old admire and the admire looks tiny.
It would be an adjustment but I don't think there will alot of phones with good specs and big screen size combo.
With the exception of the S3.
(Which has not been OFFICIALLY announced by metro.)
I just don't wanna believe the lighttray is metros extremely watered down "S3".

I would settle for a bit smaller screen for good specs

That is my main concern with it. Doesn't seem like a huge difference on paper but I know when I use my fiancee's Admire it just seems tiny.

Figure I'll just go in and compare a Connect and Motion side-by-side at the end of the month.

That's all I see. Women with Iphones from which they worship Steve Jobs like a cult leader or something. SMH

lol idk if you guys noticed but not only do i see a lot of women with iPhones but i also see more women than men with huge sized phones and that just confuses me and pisses me off when i see them using two hands to play with their phone smh

Honestly from my personal stand point and including the development here, it would take a BAD ASS phone for me to switch. Dual core doesn't excite me. Super amoled doesn't excite me. ICS doesn't even excite me. It has to be a combination of everything with a 4.3" PLUS screen. All the newer top 5 phones have 4" plus super amoled screens or what not. Plus the people that have compared an Esteem with #2 ROM and speed kernel next to a top 5 phone, have said the Esteem holds it's on very very very well. That says a lot right there. And you can get an Esteem in excellent condition for $200. To me that's a no brainer.

Being that the Esteem has the dev department that it has means ALOT to me. The only thing that somewhat entices me is the hint of the S3 coming to metro. And I dont know what people think it will be watered down so much, the Esteem isn't that watered down compared to the Revo. I think the RAM is the only difference. But Im perfectly happy where I am and I will only buy a new phone if it's an actual upgrade. Not just better specs. But this is me. :D

this....+ plenty of ram....and google wallet / nfc.
Problem is if it's missing any of the aforementioned-- we can't physically mod like a pc-- it will be severely dated in almost no time(not just in theoretical sense, but practically-- noticeably slower, for those who plan to offload some of their work chores to it)...almost as soon as it's unboxed.

I wonder what prevents several gig of ram.....

Gotta be 4.3 at least for me.

You know Im not sure considering my PC specs are 2.7Ghz processor and 4gigs of Ram on a 32 bit system.

So I would assume its the processor that would need to be big enough to handle more RAM. The Revo has 1G of ram with a 1Ghz processor so I would assume that every 500mb of processor could allocate another Gig of Ram? This is just speculation but it's logical. Maybe. Idk. It's early and Im off today. What's wrong with me. Must............get...........off..........forums............

Assuming cell phones work anything like computers... the processor shouldn't limit the amount of memory, except to create a practical limit where more memory wouldn't serve any purpose. With computers the processor does limit the type of ram, since they have to run in sync. Not sure if that applies to cell-phones though since they are more controlled when it comes to part and manufacturing. Usually the biggest limiter of ram is the price-tag and OS. Not sure of the limitations of Android, but it doesn't appear to be an issue. So price. Ram scales upwards in price rather quickly the denser the chip gets. Which would make sense on why Metro may downgrade it on some of their models, since the big carriers may not worry about shaving $50 off a phone's price-tag but Metro would be looking to cut everything they can get away with.

Nice little powerhouse for the price

im going to wait until after it launches to read about what people think of the phone that bought it.if i like what i read i will be getting one early next month.i just wish it had a bigger screen

I'm pretty sure the reviews on this one will pop up pretty fast. At least I would think so being that this is a Snapdragon S4 phone for just $149 off contract.

Would of taken it for 200 if it had at least a 4inch screen. If I was upgrading from the Optimus m. Or the like I'd be excited. But my screen has spoiled me and I can't go back. Ima keep my esteem till the end of next year if I can. Got a lot of stuff that my money has a higher order on(building two pc's and looking at a nexus 7) . By that time I'll have everything and the s3(or perhaps an updated esteem?the way of the m+) will either be out way down in price.

Sent from my cat-dog thing

They just removed 2 phones from their website.hopefully that means they will be putting up the motion and coolpad soon
