Root Clockworkmod 2.5.0.7 not working?

Hi,

I'm hoping somebody can give a few pointers.

I have just rooted my Desire using unrevoked, all seems good, have SU permission in the app menu, however when trying to create a back-up, I found the the following:

When booting into Clockworkmod 2.5.0.7, I can use the volume up/down to selct the different options, but when I use the power button to select anything, (back-up/restore or reboot) the phone's screen just goes black. Pressing the power button again returns me to the CWM menu, but the only way I can find to get out of it is to remove the battery and let the phone boot up as normal.

Am I missing something? What advice do people have?

I use amon ra but with that you need to press the track ball to make your selection and i believe it is the same for clockwork hope this helps
