Hi guys,

I have just a couple of problems with my S3. Very niggly problems!

When I'm browsing through the Google Play store and I click on an app to read about it's description etc, and I press the back key to go to back to the list I was browsing, I don't return to where I was on the scrolling list but always back to the top.

This happens in every application or activity possible. Facebook and friendcaster too. It's extremely frustrating!

Any ideas?? Thanks :-)

talk to Google...im pretty sure its an inherent issue with Android...really quite stupid

But are you saying this happens to every S3 user? I doubt it... I can't even find anything via Google about the problem! :-(

Hmm this doesn't happen to me, every list retains the position it was in. Usually the only way to fix problems that are OS-wide is to factory reset the device, so that would be a good place to start.

Many thanks, I will do it now. Trying to find how to change my homepage too; Google seems to have a severe lack of results to my problems!

For the homepage you go into the browser, press menu, go to settings, general and then set homepage.

The beauty of Android is that you can usually find alternatives if you don't like the stock apps, so if you don't like the built in messaging app or browser, just install something else :)

Shame on me, I didn't realise you could scroll down the menu!
