Help Galaxy s2 wont work while charging

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy s2 and it works everything perfectly..but while charging it wont work at all ..please help what could it be ?

We are going to need a littlemore info to help, such as
1. Is your phone rooted
2. Are you using a custom rom if so which, if not are you still on stock and which one.
3. have you recently updated your rom
4. What have you done recently that could have caused the problem
5. What have you already tried to fix the problem
6. What other thread have have you searched for an answer, if any.
