What's a good kernel to use on my phone? Is there a few good ones out right now? please provide the links to them if you know one.

You can try MikeC84's MAC Kernel. It has Sweep2Wake. I like USB forced fast charging. Lulzactive governor and V(R) scheduler are default. OCed to 1.566 GHz by default. OC-able up to 1.944 Ghz.

Mobster Power Kernel by Mobstergunz (see 2nd post for file).

...and of course Anthrax.

You can regulate your frequency and i/o scheduler with No-frills CPU Control if you'd like. Its open source.

No-frills CPU Control would not keep the Max speed CPU setting for me after a reboot nor setcpu (or i forgot what the issue was with it) but Voltage Control is working for me. I'm jmz's latest Unofficial CM9)

Anthrax has s2w also...

OTG as well. Still in beta but amazingly fast and smooth.

Although for some reason on the 3.2.6 build, and it may not be the kernel, it keeps reverting back to 1.56 GHz and ignores the 1.3 that I put in the init.com.post_boot.sh script. Still have unable to find any other scripts that may be doing that. I use the dual core app.

Any thing enabled or set in the Kernel will automatically override any script unless you stop that function through adb i suggest the old fashion No Frills Cpu

Never had that problem before with previous builds. Whenever I edited the script, they stuck. This morning I chose 1.2 GHz during the aroma installer and went to 1.56 anyway :/

Weird. Not a problem anyway but I just found it weird that it's only happening now.
