Root Help with the stickied post: turn your phone into an evo 3d.

Hboot, Radio and PRI install
We start with the Hboot, since it is needed for the radio.

1. Copy the Hboot PG86IMG.zip to your sdcard (the root of it). Do not decompress it, copy it as is.

2 If you are in Android, you need to reboot into Bootloader, then select Bootloader. If your phone is turned off, hold vol down, and power and it will go straight into Bootloader.

3. Boot to your homescreen.

4. Using the same procedure, do the same as above for the radio and PRI. Order shouldn't matter.

Do I flash these or just follow the instructions here? Just put them on the SD card then boot into boot loader, then boot home screen?

Into the bootloader wait for it to install then back to home screen and delete the file (you have to do it one at a time)

Ok, when I booted into the bootloader it said it needed to update or something so I hit volume up for yes. it rebooted after aplying. Is that correct? Or do I go flash them.

That's perfect now do the same thing for the next one (delete the one on your sd card first)

I'm not sure if you can but something I could recommend doing is downloading virtual box and a Windows iso so you can run Windows from within your Mac

I'll have to purchase a windows disc though, right?
