I just bumped it cause I wanted to let more people look at this not for an update. If I was going to pester him I would have asked for an update. Thanks for your concern bruh.

Sorry for not updating in a while.

This is a very frustrating process.

That. And not knowing half the stuff I'm doing xDD

So many warnings. Like. Whoa o.o

I've been trying so many different things to get it to work.

But yet I can not seem to find any ways to get pass this error 1 o.o

CyanMobile is 2.3.8 btw.

I think this job should be handed to PG, or someone who actually knows what he or she is doing xD

I feel like a failure. Sorry guys :( :p

That would be cool but who, everyone has left... I haven't seen a dev on here in weeks.

Well bo was on for a little bit some days ago but that's about it. Anybody who gets an admire will just have to deal with what's available unfortunately. Cyanogenmod was one thing i would've liked to see completed but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen

I agree, it's like one day every dev on here just up and left. Its a shame, there is a little potential left in this phone. I guess now that I have a job I might have to get a better phone with more development potential lol.

As for CM7, PlayfulGod and a couple others assured me a couple times that Req0 is still working on it, he reworked the kernel and I think got the camera working or something else maybe but I'm not sure when we'll see it. I tried talking to him on IRC but no one is ever there, just idle

we are in the process of moving irc servers due to constant outages.

would that suffice to say it is still being worked on? the "easy" stuff is all done, its a matter of fixing the code and patching in craploads more. apologies if it isnt being done quick enough

Demon, what specs are your computer? IIRC it needs to be a 64bit Ubuntu, (Mint is Ubuntu based) dual core or better with plenty of RAM, ICS AOSP builds require 2Ghz+ Quad cores and like 16Gib RAM.

to build Gingerbread and up you need linux and 64bit, that is all.

i used to compile ics back on my dual core 2gb desktop and it would take 3 hours. now i have a hex core with 8gb and it takes 35 mins

That's blazing! You have an Intel or the AMD Phenom II? I'm looking at building an Ubuntu box with Phenom II and at least 8Gib RAM. I do like the specs on the i7 too though :)

the cost to upgrade my year old motherboard, my dual core amd, and my ram was 300 bucks.

AMD FX-6100
CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3

i also has 1.5TB collective on my HDD. the weakest thing on my computer is my GTS 250, still plays games like portal 2 and all i need. i wish i had the spare fundage to upgrade to 8 core though would have been even better :D
