[Verizon] Slow wifi speed on stock VZW

So a few days ago, I flashed the leaked Official VZW Jelly Bean update, and as i was restoring my apps from google play, i noticed the download speeds to be around 200 Kb/s, i figured that's odd? the router is in the next room over, so i move over to room with the router and sit right next to it. Still the same, 200-250 KB/s. this issue also reminded me of the same issue a few weeks back when i was on stock ICS. My router is fine, i know that much. But on other ROMs its so much faster!! 1.5 - 2 MB/s!!

anyone else have this problem? its so annoying when downloading some of the apps that are on sale right now.

Have you tried a complete wipe and reflash? And did you update according to proper update instructions?

I may be able to help you of you provide some more info.

I too flashed this Stock JB rom a few days ago. My wifi speeds are the same as before (around 10 Mbps).

Yes, I have, and I ALWAYS do a complete wipe when flashing a new ROM. I was thinking maybe its the ROM i got from wugfresh toolkit when I unrooted once a few months back? but then again makes no sense because the leaked ROM is having the same issue >.>
