Root Chainfire3D

This is just a possible suggestion for the developers working on this device.

I don't know if this is something you have considered, but the app Chainfire3D looks like it could be something worth looking into. Incorporating it into your work may prove to be beneficial. However, you may have to add or edit somewhere, where it disables the app if running below 1GHz. I know it may be power consuming, but with some undervolting, maybe creating a performance based ROM and kernel duo maximizing the potential of Chainfire3D while not permitting the phone to run below 1GHz could be something people might find interest in.

Again, I don't know if you have considered Chainfire3D for the Prevail before. I don't know if this is something even worth pursuing. I just thought it could be worth suggesting.

our phones don't run 1ghz to begin with.

It's been a little while since actively using my prevail, but now that I think about it, I feel I made a mistake. I thought I remembered the prevail being able to overclock to around 1.2 GHz, but now I recall it would only overclock to around 0.95 ghz.

If run constantly at that speed, do you think this app would make a difference, or do you think it would take too much ram to even be reasonable on this device?

i think that it will use up too much of our mem, plus we have big drains on our battery as is, so this would add to it. don't think it is worth it. but if someone tries it, make sure you let us know how it works out for you.
also you say you have a prevail and your profile lists one, well give it a go then.

I actually used to run chainfire3d on my prevail. It actually helped and wasn't too bad on resources. I was using it so I could play grand theft auto 3.

so it is for gaming? and not really any other benefits of everyday activity?

I didn't really notice a difference on anything else. I do know though that gta3 wouldn't even load before I installed chains3d, worked fine after install, a bit laggy, but the game was at least playable

I just downloaded ChainFire3d (the free version), installed the driver and reduced texture quality to 16bit. So far it is working fine and the phone is running faster and my Antutu Benchmark went from 2058 to 2161. I am running Honeybread 6 at 900Mhz with on-demand scheduling
