Mobile or Full Sites

Do you guys/gals view websites with mobile or full versions? On the tab2, mine seems to always view full. How can I switch to mobile?

I have Dolphin & Chrome, I assume, browsers installed.

full versions of our local news give more details then the mobile version. Once you have installed the mobile version I have to use a different browser to get the full version, no matter how I try it just loads the mobile version. I would go with the full version.:)
 
From my experience, mobile versions of websites are best suited for smartphone devices due to the limited viewing area on the screen. Tablets--even those with 7 inch screens--are best suited for full versions of websites as they can comfortably fit a website's full experience on the screen. On tablets, I've personally found mobile sites to be bland and lacking.

I've found this to be the case on multiple browsers including GT2's stock browser, Chrome, and Opera Mobile.
 
Both Chrome and stock browsers give you the option to switch to mobile or desktop view. Click the settings tab and you see the choice.
 
hi i'm thinking about getting a 7inch tablet. What i really want to know is how is the full web browsing experience? Do you enjoy it on the 7inch or does it get annoying?

when a page loads full screen can you read the text or do you have to zoom in? Is it better in landscape or portrait mode - I imagine the text will be bigger & clearer at full screen in landscape mode- is this true?

You can actually change a hidden setting so your galaxy tab2 will always choose either mobile or normal websites.

It was a pain in my b** too to get the browser to do this like i wanted and i spent a lot of time on trying and retrying, but this is how to do it :

This setting will sooner or later dissapear and you will have to redo this pain in the b**-selection. Also sometimes, your browser will reload your last choice automatically. That's why it's a good idea to clean history and
buffer in the settings of the standard browser first. (Go to SETTINGS in the browser, then select 'privacy and security'.

To change the type of browser choice :

1. Go to the standard browser window. Then enter 'about:debug' in the address bar in the browser. Press return. Nothing happens now, but you will have more possibilities in SETTINGS after doing this
2. Select options at the top-right corner of the screen
3. Select "Settings"
4. Choose the last option in the list on the left which is something like "Debug"
5. Select "UASTRING"
6. Then choose ANDROID for mobile websites, choose DESKTOP for normal websites.

A full webpage can not be read comfortably without zooming in. It's best to use mobile webpages when available and useful enough.
I feel the 7.0 inch screen allows browsing but it's only nice when there is no other screen or computer around because the content is and stays small.
Should you regard this thing with Android as a small laptop ? No, you shouldn't. It's just a big phone screen with dito possibilities.
 
I've been using Landscape mode and it seems to help when viewing full websites. It does seem like using the mobile version doesn't give you the complete view.
 
Hmmm i seem to be getting the opposite. My chome default is mobile mode and i dont like it. I have to select request desktop site every time.

... but some site like photobucket doesnt allow me to view in full mode.... grrrr
