Root A SureFire Way For Excellent Battery Life

She didn't do much for me lol. I do keep my wifi enabled but I don't check to notify me an open connection is available. I'm mostly right here at home. I don't go out much, my immune system is comprised while taking chemo and I don't want anyone's germs. I keep my data off except when I go to the Drs. I keep my screen timeout on 2min. I hate it when I'm doing something and my phone turns off. I hate task killers. I prefer to manage my stuff on my own. I don't use live wallpapers, but I'm not going to go with a plain colored one either. I have to be able to enjoy something lol. I do use 3D watchdog. What are y'alls favorite battery saving tips??

One manager that I just recently stumbled across is an all in one.Typical app killer but the good thing about this app is that the apps that start up when boot, you can have the option to have them lie dormant and when you use them and end your session, it will not be going in the background. :D

Now what exactly is this 3d watchdog? it just seems like another task killer type deal... Opposed to killing my apps manually in settings...

Actually, 3D watchdog isn't an app killer at all. If you have limits on how much data you can use per month, you set that & it keeps track of it for you. Then if you want to & only if you want to you can set to once you have reached a certain percentage of data usage it will disable your data. That is only if you set it to do that though. I mentioned I use 3D watchdog because she mentioned it. It's not really a battery saving tip, but it's nice if you need to keep track of your data usage.

Ohhh I see. Well I thought you can keep track of your data using my going to the MyMobile app or something installed on the phone and it tells you how much. As far as disabling the data, it sounds like it just turns it off automatically for you. Whats the point if I have a data switch to kill it also?

I don't use any metro apps that I don't absolutely have to have. So I don't have the app you are talking about. After having one brain surgery & now 7.5 yrs later a new tumor, my memory does sucketh. I use any such shortcuts I can to help me pay attention to something I might forget about, as long as they don't just totally get on my nerves.
