Sorry to post this here, but unless I sign up to a new orange related forum, and the fact there isn't an Orange community within the "carriers" forum, you'll have to do....... there also seems to be many orange customers here.

Ive just been scrutinizing my e-bill and am a liitle confused about the following. I never really read my phone bill, cos its usually stable, except for the price.

------------------------------------

Data Summary
Inclusive megabytes used 23.7431
Non-inclusive megabytes used 77.1689

Total megabytes
100.9121

data charges
Originating network Place called Call class Megabytes
Orange Orange Internet Data 100.9121 16.252

Total exc.VAT

i think u should speak to orange

also what apn settings you have is the Orange HTC hero or ???

u should have orangeinternet

if you have wap or something like that then u may get charges but i guess double check the apn settings and call orange to confirm everything is not right.

I had similar issue in the past where i use orange wap apn settings and i get charged but i got refund.

apn is set to orangeinternet so theres no problems there. I must point out also, that I have only just changed tariffs and I upgraded my phone 2-3weeks before the changeover day and the extra data may be down to that. The fact is, it says "inclusive MB's used". If they are inclusive, why am i paying for them??

Jim,

Have u just upgraded your phone or on a new contract with Orange?
If its the above, then probably its the idle time between the date when u got ur phone and the billing cycle that orange runs every month.

Eg. You upgraded our phone/ had a new contract with orange say July 23
and Orange's billing cycle runs 8th of every month. This means your 500 mb
is divided by 16 days (23July-Aug8)

Am I on the right track?

cheers,
J
