OTA 2.1 Has started..

i think my wife got it as well, i told her not to update but shes at work and im on my way out the door. if no one has pulled the files by the time i get home tonight ill put it up for you guys.

You must inform your boss now that you are suddenly feeling ill and have to go home immediately. :D

It is "working" but throwing over 120 exceptions....it makes the phone run even worse than it does on the stock home launcher.

When I get home this evening, if no one else has gotten the update, I'll check the SD card for any remnants of the install file.

dammit.. i REALLY like using Home++.... thanks anyway!

lol...mess around with it man and let us know. any extra homescreens, how are the live wallpapers? etc...

Oh, check for pinch to zoom in the browser...

Also, see if they added autocorrect for the h/w keyboard (yeah, I know it wasn't listed as a feature, but a girl's gotta dream.)

I'm sure by friday, everyone will have it via OTA anyways, and the devs of our favorite apps will have them all fixed ASAP.

No worries.

Dolphin still does pinch to zoom MUCH better.

Just checked it out, and was quite laggy, and jumpy, where as Dolphins is pretty smooth. It could be I'm just biased, and used to Dolphins pinch to zoom. /shrug

Thanks Fabolous!!!!

How many homescreen does it have? Live wallpapers working fine? How fast is it working so far?

WOW So many questions =D

Thanks for checking on the pinch to zoom. Since they didn't mention it in the update notes, I thought they might leave it out.

I honestly thought they did too. I was trying it out, and the option doesn't become available until the page is FULLY loaded.

And once the page is loaded, the zoom has a very...jagged feeling to it.

I am just hoping that ESE81 does provide some subtle improvements to the OS, and that it wasn't renamed from ESE53 because of the leak, or renamed because they simply batched any exploits in ESE53.

IF I remember correctly, ESE53 was essentially a dump of just the /system partition, hopefully this update brings optimized kernels and baseband that the dev community can integrate
