I am using Nova Launcher and I have to say that I am pretty happy with it. It's much better that the stock launcher imo. So what is your go to launcher?
 
SPB Shell.
Yea, I shelled out the money for it, but I haven't been disappointed or had second thoughts. I've have it for 8 months now, and it's been worth every penny.
 
I just switched to Smart Launcher Pro. It is very different from any launcher that I have used. It organizes apps into categories like games. media, utilities, etc. Check the market if you want to know more about it.
 
I've been trying out a variety and can't really decide which to use. Which one offers the easiest way to replace icons? On apex it seems that I have to download a theme first but I want to use the metrostation icon pack

I hear Nova Launcher can use ADW icon themes.

I have used folder groupings like this on Go Launcher and Holo.

I like the feel and customization abilities of Go, but it is getting too bloated now, with lots of crap I don't use.

Holo seems to work fine, and do most of the Go features I used.

Holo can use ADW & Launcher Pro icon packs. Holo seems to be the minimulistic of them all. Holo Pro is HD so that excludes me.
 
Okay I tried Nova. It is very nice. Smoother than Holo and more customizable.

I will keep it for awhile and see how it goes. All the setup skewed my battery usage against Nova. As long as it is not an excessive battery consumer, I am likely to keep using Nova.

Thanks for the thread posts that got me looking again.

I don't think Metrostation is really a theme. It's an icon pack that lets you change the icon of an app on the home screen. So you have to do it one at a time.

I haven't noticed any huge drain on battery with Nova.
 
I have now used Nova prime for a full day. It seems very fast, and the battery usage seems to not be as excessive as the setup time made it appear.

I suspect that I have a new favorite.
 
Acos Launcher app. I loved it...! Simple but nice, smart & smoothly searching inside menus my phone. football 1.png
