Root getting stock keyboard on ROMS

I have tried other ROMS, but do not like the keyboards. I know I can download another keyboard app to bypass this, but I would like to keep the running apps to a minimum.

I enjoy the stock keyboard look, but only the Mobster V vanilla ROM has the stock keyboard. What/where are the files that I need to copy over to the sd card for when I go to change ROMS.

Any and all assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated!!!

That and if you actually replace the stock keyboard with another your not really using any more resources. Even if you left the stock installed plus use my personal favorite SwiftKey it's only like an additional 3 megs or so additional for the language file.

I snagged the file suggested from monster v (as it has the stock keyboard) on midnight Rom, the keyboard stopped working, and on harmonia it had the look of the gingerbread keyboard....
