[Verizon] Rom Differences

GandalfTehGray

Android Expert
So back in the day with my Droid X I would try out nearly every Rom that would come out and good tell the benefits of each one. Since getting my Nexus I've really only ran Aokp and really like it. But I'd like to know the benefits of some of these other roms without having to try it myself.

Benefits of AOKP to me: Toggles in Notification pull down, settings softkey, and on the ICS Aokp brightness slider within the notifications bar.

If customizations are important to you, give JBSourcery a try. You can customize everything you can imagine from toggles, soft keys, nav bar, lock ring, lock ring dots, etc... My favorite is putting a picture of my son as the background on the pull down screen! It runs smooth as silk and the dev team is really responsive and helpful here on this board and others.

personally i like CM9 and Bamf. Both of which offer a native built in feature to control the color of led notifications. So you don't have to install LIghtFlow

No I didn't make it. It's one of many tools that is located in this sticky at the top of the forum. It along with a lot of other stuff in that sticky has been a big help to me as well.

Here's a link to the sticky:

We have a brand new option for you out there. Feel free to have a look. Thank you.
