Root Flashing Radio questions

Do I need to backup my current radio in case I need to come back to original? or are they already out zipped up out there somewhere?

I see that you have to downgrade the hboot to 1.40 in order to be able to flash radios, do is there a need to back up my current hboot (1.57 juopunutbear) or there are standard ways to be this back in case I need to. Basically will I ever need to restore my hboot for any rom or any reason?

What do people recommend, changing the radio first? or try to change the PRL as well? There wasnt much talk on wiimax, do I need to worry about this too?

You should change your prl last because it has the least effect and is the hardest part to do. You don't see much about the 4g radio because it's a separate item and also doesn't really have any issues even when stock.

Yeah the 4G seems okay when there is a tower around...
People are mentioning they lose MMS when moving to sprint radios. I currently dont have issues with MMS, is this something that I may lose or related more on the ROM side?

Most roms based on the Evo 3d have mms issues because Virgin implements it in an extremely odd way, just changing your radio even to a Sprint version won't have any effect on your mms.
