Microphone sensitivity

Hi,

has anyone found a way to increase the microphone sensitivity on a Tab 2 7 (GT3100)?

Mine is so low I have to hold it 6 inches from my face which is ridiculous. The volume control is not related to mic input, and I do not want to use an external device.

This can be a hardware problem but you may try something before to claim your warranty.
Try to install this app from Google Play, it's a Sound detector with an slider to adjust the "sensitivity level" and you may be lucky if once closing the app your mic keep the level. If not.... go to your shop and claim for a change.

That is kind of you, I will try it and keep you posted, I think I have tried almost everything....

It did not work, in fact on my device it took over all sound and reduced it. thanks anyway.
