In the following blog article 3 office apps are compared and analyzed in detail:

What do you think which office-app is the best for editing, saving and uploading documents on the Android-tablet?

There's a demo of Softmaker office for Android. The drawback for some may be it's pricing if you decide on it. It's currently priced at ~$30 for the entire suite and can currently be bought at the developer's site. They only have Textmaker (their MS Word counterpart) in Google Play store @ ~$10.

I didn't hesitate getting it when it was available on the Play store. I'm still waiting for their Planmaker app to make its appearance. Although a little disappointed that they removed some menus from the Android version. Considering the WM version had ALL MS Word functions and menus enabled in the app.

I'm using Smart Office 2 by Picsel which I got from Samsung Apps. It's very slick for displaying and editing office documents incl. help files.

I have personally used Quick Office Pro over my HTC phone and I am well satisfied with it, where as Kingsoft office also seems nice, and the best part is that it is free.
