Specifically asphalt 6, but any games really. There have been posts in the past of people saying they got it working but were very vague on how they did it or simply said they changed the build.prop. Well I've done that and still no luck. Any other suggestions? I've bought the game on the Play Store (which sees my phone as an evo 3d when i leave a review) and I've also already emailed gameloft asking for support for our phone, getting the typical auto-response.

Haven't personally tried 3d games yet, but remember reading that some people had to call gameloft.
That's a great list, but doesn't really help me with my question.
Thought I'd let everyone know though who wants gameloft games working in 3d, try purchasing the games through gameloft's wap site. It recognized my device as an evo 3d and I successfully purchased and downloaded GT Academy which works great in 3d. Not sure why the Play Store won't give me the right 3d versions of games but this method works for me.
I'm on Mobster ROM, power kernel, with Leslie's "turn your device into a 3d" tweaks.
