OK. I'm about to return the S3...
I have a Mac running 10.8.x and there does not appear to be any way at all to do a one-time transfer of media (photos, tunes) from my iPhone to the S3 or regular sync's.
I have searched here and downloaded and run Easy Phone Sync, iSyncr, and Kies. None of these work as advertised. I called AT & T who handed me off to Samsung who said Kies is not supported in 10.8.x and were not able to offer a viable, easy to use, workaround.
EPS sorta works but sorta doesn't cut it. iSyncr won't even launch, and Kies mounts my phone intermittently and so doesn't work either.
What I want to be able to do is:
1) Do a one-time move of all my contacts, pics, and tunes.
2) Find some application that will do what iTunes does.
Any suggestions? I love the phone and am very motivated to make this work but it HAS to be as easy to sync the Android/Mac as it is to do it with the iP/iTunes. I do not want to get into the habit of nursing a finicky device/software package to get it to what I want.
I truly believe ICS/JB are vastly superior to the new iOS but this is a total deal-breaker for me. I don't have time to play with some half-ass syncing issue nor am I going to go buy a POS computer (i.e., anything the Microsoft touches) to support my shiny new phone...
