Help Why won't certain games work on the HTC EVO V?

Games like Asphalt and Raging Thunder do not work when I pay and download them from the app store.

if you are on the stock rom it might be becuase those games are not configured for the "EVO V 4G" even though we all know its an EVO 3D


when I had a triumph, the only way to get games to work was to edit the build.prop so apps think the phone is a "HTC Thunderbolt", a much more popular phone with the same SoC

going on that knowledge, it can be fair to assume we need the EVO 3D build.prop to get certain apps to work.


I'm sure the custom roms already have this fixed becuase I haven't had any issue in those

You can also try purchasing right from Gameloft website instead of the market, people have had better luck going that route.

Turns out a custom ROM fixes the problem, thanks guys.
