On order probably just means the number ordered from the Manufacturer. It's like 150k iPads being ordered. Just because they are ordered doesn't mean they are ready to be shipped. It's so the manufacturer knows you have until this date to test and approve and have xxxxx number of devices ready to ship.

I think this is still a good sign that Verizon has accepted testing on its end, and we're close.....I can taste it. (It's delicious)
 
do you guys think it will be released by the upcoming monday??

I really hate my razr and hope to get a new phone by the end of spring break

Quick question...So when you sign a two year contract is there any early upgrades you can use before the ne2? And is it the same price upgrade? does your contract restart if you early upgrade?

ot....I was at the strip club for my guy friends birthday(I'm a girl by the way) and it made me think about the early stages of this phone speculation and how this phone gave us hope only to take it away. It should be The HTC Stripper. Makes you feel special and teases you and you leaves frusterated and unfullfilled. lol

You can sign a new 2 year contract (with 2 Year pricing) after 1 year if you're not on a family plan or are the main line on a family plan. This will reset your NE2 counter which is available 20 months into a 24 month contract.

The HTC Lap Dance?
 
I decided to stop lurking on here.....My heart was broken today :(......... I purchased my HTC Eris on a whim almost about a month ago....... My BB Storm was in a coma, instead of dealing with it I got the Eris.... My month is almost up in a few days..... I went to the Verizon Store on Camp Creek, (ATL) and the sales lady told me that if I return my Eris today and get another phone that I should be sure because I can't exchange whatever phone I get today....

I asked the lady if she knew anything about the INCREDIBLE, she looked me in the face and said that she doesn't know what I'm talking about....... I wanted to slap her and scream "b!tch you know what I'm talking about & quit giving me the side eye"....

So I did a factory reset on my Eris for nothing..... The INCREDIBLE probably wont come out in the next few days... My heart hurts........ I have some money coming to me in June..... So I'll have to wait until then and buy it retail............

I like almost cried.. I'm soooooooooo sad.....

Is it around this time when we can call verizon and order the phone?
Like the time when some people said that they ordered some phones before it was announced as a mistake on the CSR's part?

find a friend with a crappy old phone and activate that until the incredible comes out

I wonder what would happen if you turned it in, paid full retail for the cheapest phone they have, then tried to upgrade later?

Any VZW gurus have any ideas on how that would work?

(also nice to see another fellow Georgian on here ... good luck) :)
 
Ohhh, Bummer. That's sad...

But here's a thought for you kinda thinking out of the box. Go ahead and return your Eris and & buy some cheap phone to get you through off of Craigslist or ebay. Even if you only use it a few weeks, you can resell it and probably get most of your money back out of it. You should be able to find something servicable for $20 or so. Then you can use your NE@ or whatever you used on the Eris when the Incredible comes out. I've heard of other folks doing something similar. At least you wouldn't have to pay retail. Hope something works out for you...it's would be great for all of us if they'd just release the phone already!

I have to admit, my head was turned by the new Sprint Guarantee released today. I'm past my NE2 but only a few months from being completely out of contract so if VZW doesn't snag me soon with some Incredible phone, sheesh, I might be checking that Evo after all. :( I don't think I want to be tempted to do that.

With Verizon you get one 30 day return. Best thing to do is return, re-activate old device and then buy Incredible when it comes out. I am thinking of getting a Droid and on day 29 returning it if the Incredible hasn't come out. I have an LG Voyager now or I can always break out my Palm Treo 700p (WHAT?!)
