"Wow someone who doesn't bother with a whole bunch of verbose for their story AND can deliver. Awesome.
My question would be to know (if possible) how many, percentage wise, get sent out to stores and how many are retained for tech support/exchange reasons?"

According to this post on the other thread. Some are kept for tech support/exchange reasons. Seems reasonable, hes just wondering how many of those out of the 150,000+ are for that reason.

I actually spend all day reading this forum. I do not post because i am too busy with college. Maybe you should read my second post.

*side note - i would have punched that choad outside the store, taken the box from his hand and sped off if i were you.

Whenever I am posting in here I am supposed to be writing a program (or doing something for another class).

That screen cap reports 156,709 devices at the warehouse?

I didnt see such a screen in retail, so I cant confirm or deny it. The only troubling thing I see is that devices come to stores in boxes of 12. I wish the 156,709 was easily divisible by 12. It if came out to an even number, I would be thrilled, but alas it does not.

BTW, everything I am saying is speculation on this, except for I do know that devices come in boxes of 12 to the stores. Always.

maybe it's 156,709 boxes of 12

The Math is Perfect 13059 boxes of 12 shipped out oh and did I forget the single unit overnight air sent to me.....:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Right now I'm in java (220) so it's basically no functionality. I've taken 1 python class and also I took a C++ class around 6 years ago so I'm not exactly a hacker lol.

I did most of mine in college in C/C++/C#. I took a more basic java class, but if you can program in one, you can program in pretty much any, but since you're doing java, if you have an end of the year project, might as well do an Android app.

1,880,508 does that sound like a better number? 156,709 x 12..

seeing as how they have 90 mil customers might not be too far off...haha

Nope I don't get to choose what I do. My teacher even makes us name our variables what she gives us. The last program I did was on a loan and we had to name variables "annualInterestRate" etc which is way too long for a variable name imo.

Also, the head professor is really nice and open to class ideas so I'm thinking of suggesting an android class since it's easy to download the android emulator on our computers. Hopefully I will somehow magically get good enough in the next few years to take no$gba and make it run well on android (for ds).

yeah that variable name is a little ridiculous. i did most of my programming in C++/C#, know a little Java.
