When did you get 2.1 OTA?

I know most of you guys and gals have manually installed the update, but for those who haven't (waiting to see if there are bugs to resolve) or already got it OTA, it might be interesting to see if there's a pattern. Relevant info would be: when you bought your droid, where you live (approx), and if you're on a family plan, did others on the same plan get it at the same time? (Any other relevant info I'm missing?)

I'm wondering generally if there's a pattern to how they decide to push updates to phones. Sorry if this is something that was figured out after the 2.0.1 update, but I was curious.

I rooted my Droid. Then downloaded Rom Manager. Now I have constantly-updating custom roms whenever I feel like it.

Sorry I didn't answer your question the way you probably wanted, but I saw that a few people viewed the page and hadn't responded.

Right, while those updates are over the air, so to speak, I'm curious about how Verizon (or whatever service they outsource to) makes these decisions.

It's probably a stupid question since the members here represent such a small sample pool the info would basically be irrelevant. Like I said, just curious...

My better half and I got our moto-droids at the same time. We're on the same account. I got 2.1 via push the other day but her phone is still at 2.01 and shows as up to date. Peculiar, me thinks...

Got my OTA pushed overnight, woke up this morning to the install screen. Installed it and seems to be a bit quicker on most operations, nothing earth shaking

Haven't gotten it yet and I bought my Moto Droid in mid-December.

edit: Finally got it on 4/6 at noon.

I got my Droid on Friday. While I was in the store getting it activated and waiting on the other phones on my plan the update came through. The Verizon employee was actually kind of upset because he hadn't gotten it yet. :D

I got it yesterday when I woke up and my Gf got hers this morning.
She bought the Droid a month ago if that and I got it less then a month after release.
There's obviously no rime or reason to it.

Still haven't received the OTA. Bought my phone the first day it went on sale (Nov 6th if memory serves) Live on West Coast. Getting impatient. (Yes, I know I can do a manual install. I just want to go through the official process)

Got mine when I woke up this morning, 5 am. Got the droid nov 6. I live in upstate new york. I'm a vip customer with 5 phones, only one droid. I haven't been able to see any pattern except maybe with newer purchasers getting it sooner then people who have had their droids longer. That's kind of why I waited to see if there was any pattern.

i got mine yesterday, not sure why my brother didnt seeing as how out phones were activated the same day but look at the bright side, bragging rights till he does:)

I got mine on Saturday. I woke up and my phone was below 40% battery, I charged it later that morning in the car and when it got a little more charge on the battery, I got the prompt to update to 2.1

I've never received either OTA. Waited two days for both, then manually installed them. Used them for a few days then rooted.
