Help Foxfi /pdanettablet

the range? the phone is in my pocket and the tablet is in my hand. They are like one foot from eachother ? That is what I dont understand

Lol. I assumed you meant that the phone was stationery and you were walking away from it

With adw, or zeam launcher? It's been to long since i flashed Hroark's original. I have my own version with apps replaced
 
I don't want to jinx myself but here goes. I gave Open Garden a try and so far my connection has held solid. Hopefully, it stays that way!
 
Your tab can see open garden? It broadcasts an adhoc connection... Most Androids don't like to connect to adhoc... But regardless, glad you found something that works
 
Amazing. I'm driving in the car right now and it is working flawlessly. I can't stream that well but at this point being able to browse is great. Hopefully, my trials and tribulations will help someone else.
 
Well, lucky, since no one else is having this problem with their phones or WiFi Tether, the logical conclusion is, that your pdanettablett is the culprit. Who knows what it is....... could be the WiFi Card, a problem with wireless b-g-n, could be outdated drivers, could be a hard or software issue........... but it's 99.9999999% a problem with your tablet ! I used WiFi Tether and so far have connected to 5 different laptops, 2 tablets and a wireless desktop.... never a problem !!

Logic got thrown out the Window on this one. I tried with and without pdanet etc... Every which way but loose.
