We actually fly on each others airlines all the time. We have reciprocal agreements were pilots get to fly for free on other airlines if seats are available or in the cockpit.

Ha! Good to know. That was my 'learn something new' for today.
And as childish as it may be I still giggle at the word cockpit :D, although a tour amd working explanation in layman's (another funny word) terms has always been something I've wanted.

And because we have to take time off already at Christmas time to take care of my kids for a week while THEY are on vacation, we are not even going to be able to take any time...or even a weekend to go out there ahead of time. Going to be relying on pictures from our friends and the real estate agent to find us a good house, and a few holiday-days off and a weekend to travel and move our stuff.

-Wish it were possible, and maybe it still will be, but as of now, we don't have the opportunity....So, we will see what it looks like the day we drive into town. IMO, Austin is without a doubt the best city in Texas. If I was going to live in Texas that is where I would want to be.

First, I never thought there was anything I could teach you BabyBlues.

Second, the term "cockpit" apparently is politically incorrect and nowadays we're suppose to call it the flight deck.

Third, someday I'll hopefully give you a tour of my cockpit. :)
