Notification light has quit working after update!

After the 2.1 update my notification light has stopped working. It no longer lights up for anything! Anyone else have this issue?

I saw another post on this yesterday. Others were having problems with Handcent.
I can only report that I forced 2.1 and don't have any problems.

The notification LED does not light up if your screen is on after the 2.1 update. I think that I preferred the old behavior but its not to big of a deal.

I would be fine with this behavior if it had one more condition - that the notification bar was showing. I use the Nexus One dock app on my Droid instead of the Multimedia Station dock app and when it goes into "sleep" mode (black screen with just the time and date) the notification bar is hidden and it's very easy to miss notifications then.

I also manually installed 2.1 and found the notification light not working at all. I soft reset and hard reset my Droid and got the light back for notification of emails and text messages but not for calendar notifications. And that is the one I need most of all. :-( Anyone have any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it?

The LED notification light does not work after update, for missed calls. I hate this engineering error by Verizon and Casio. I loved the little green LED light notifying me of missed calls in church and other places like work where it sometimes is very loud. I see my phone from a distance, and know if I missed a notification just by seeing the light blinking without being near enough to hear or pick up the phone to see what was happening. Casio and Verizon, please repair. I also liked the copy and paste feature on the old version a lot better because it required less clicks to get the job done.
