Yea.... April fools day is absolutely going to suck today. I cannot imagine the amount of false "announcements" we are going to get today....ugh
 
Random thought... with all these bogo deals, doesn't VZW worry that they will have fewer sales of the incredible since so many people just signed contracts?

I think this is more of an OS feature, so that's up to Android Developers.

Also will it be capable of usb host support?
I know with a hack the Droid is but the N1 doesn't appear to be.

You might as well be asking when the release date is for all anybody here would know, seeing as we've been speculating for 400+ pages on a phone for which we have no official information. :cool:
 
I am selling over to the dark side on 4/3. In good news that gives verizon until 5/2 to get their ish together so I can just exchange for the Incredible.

Oh and the Incredible actually appeared in my dream last night. I don't know how I feel about that.

That's not true. The specifications other than the RAM and ROM are more or less confirmed. Me source who got to play with it told me some of the specs but they didn't go into detail.

I wish we had more real news. I hate April Fool's Day for this alone. :p

I agree.

In addition though, the whole draw for verizon to have such a great Flagship phone like the incredible is to take from AT&T or Sprint etc.

The BOGO works very well in getting dumbphone users to up to smartphones who are already with Verizon (I'm sure they got some transfers too), but a Great Phone, a true Iphone rival will mean they finally have something to draw people who would otherwise choose AT&T or Sprint.

I also think they are trying to give Palm a chance with this BOGO, if they released the Incredible right now, Palm would be F**ked.

Since VZW always has a promotion going on I guess they'll never release the Incredible, since people think that's why it hasn't been released yet :p
 
Not only can you get 2 palm's for $30, they come with FREE WIFI HOTSPOT (normally $60/mo) which is almost worth buying. Holy crap, free internet for your laptop no matter where you are, just for the price of normal service/data.

Although I do wonder how long the free hotspot lasts (in 2 months will they want $60/mo again?)
