Virus detection on Eris

Okay,

I did the obligatory search but did not find anything that fit what I was looking for.

Once I mount my Eris to my laptop can I simply run my laptop virus scanner on the phone? Basically, will my laptop virus program detect virus's or malware on my phone if I do a virus scan on it?

Also, is there anyway to check to see if I can detect virus's on my phone? I have heard of a script or something you can use to test your virus scanner.

No that won't work. If you are using a window pc with virus scan on it most likely it will scan for windows virus's and not pay any attention to anything on the linux platform. At this point i wouldn't worry about getting a virus on your phone, but if you insist there is an app out there you can download onto your phone that will scan for them.
