Evo Design: Great phone but lacking

Mind you: This isn't a debate thread or to bash the Evo, just would like some ideas/suggestions of the good and the bad

I love the 4 inch display, but I just bought my gf the galaxy reverb, and noticed how vibrant and clear her screen looked. I could change the font (can't do that on my design, even though it is rooted) and the size of her her icons and everything else was about 1.5/2x larger making everything clear and easy to read.

My design is getting sluggish already, but aesthetically this phone looks amazing (would love if they made a more powerful design).

I now am thinking of getting a phone and flashing to boost.

Is there a way to change the font?
Is there a way to change the size of how things appear on the screen?
Is there a phone aesthetically (htc thunderbolt??) I can flash to boost?
Lastly, should I just get the galaxy sII?


If you don't have an answer, go ahead and post what you love and what you may dislike.

Yes actually believe they do have black, and test you can change the font, go into the playstore and search font changer for rooted devices. There will be few its been a long time since I even had a rooted phone so test them and figure out with one works for you. Fyi you gotta be rooted.

Yep as stated earlier I am rooted (http://androidforums.com/evo-design...k-rooted-rom-no-cwm-required.html#post4537056)

Rom toolbox or font changer wouldn't do the trick. Great resolutions but I may see if I can just buy a spint S ii (black) and call boost and be like "Wut do?"

Edit: called boost (spoke to 2 different HUMANS) they say they boost never had any galaxies in black

That is WIERD lol. O_O haha maybe the black "boost" galaxies are just the white ones people have taken the outer casing off of and replaced with black and reboxed it in the original box it was purchased in. Idk lol just a thought.

I was thinking about doing this. I've done it with other phones.
