Lg lucid ics update rolling out tomorrow!!!!

Dude this is f'ing gay!!!! I called and bitched at Verizon and all they said was the spectrum will get it before jan 1st. I asked why would a lower spec phone get this first, and the reply was because this was cheaper and more people have it and will buy it because its so cheap and will have ics......Weak......

There is some logic to this situation. I'll be darned to know what that is though. :hmmmm2:

It's not that the Lucid has poorer specs, its that Lucid press releases used "Upgradeable" language and the phone was released for sale 3 months after the Spectrum. But LG Spectrum press releases had ICS listed as a key feature, available in the 2nd QTR.

The Lucid is sold by BestBuy. The Spectrum was not. Sales drive updates. There is your logic.

It is all about the sales. They know that people want ICS and they are putting it on one of their cheaper models. If they were smart they would put it on the Spectrum which is slightly more expensive and advertise it as "For just a few more dollars you can have the newer operating system which comes with more features and better security" or some bs like that. Guess they are trying to save the customer some money? LMAO:rolleyes:
When I was getting my thunderbolt replaced by them I had a choice between the Lucid and the Spectrum. I don't regret getting the Spectrum because I still think it's the better phone. Especially with the leak working so well for me.
